Portraiture is difficult as you are trying to capture not only the subject's likeness, but also a hint of their personality, which you have successfully done here. That is why I don't even attempt it. You should be very proud of your work. You have a lot of talent.

Thanks so much John, so do you! I admire that you paint so often and so well. I work a full time job during the week and the only time I have to paint is the weekends if I can find time. I'm off this next week and priming some birch wood right now to start a painting filled week. Thanks again.
