Allan's Art in Arlington

Finished my John Wayne portrait in pencil.  This is the second one I’ve done of him and he is a joy to draw.  So many great movie moments come to mind and I can hear his voice as I look at him.  Hope you enjoy!

Pencil portrait of Tom Cruise 11x14.  Enjoyed working on this one.   Hope you enjoy. Looking forward to Top Gun 2.  Hope he sees his portrait here.

Had to draw Granny after Jed!  11x14. Irene Ryan was 59 when she played the role of Granny during the Beverly Hillbillies.

Well Doggie!! Jed Clampett.   Buddy Epsen was a dancer originally  and was the Tin Man for 10 days in the Wizard of Oz till he became very sick from the aluminum dust and almost died.  But will always be known as the poor mountaineer who barely kept his family fed.  Hope you enjoy my latest pencil.

Hope you enjoy this pencil of Floyd the barber!   He was such a beloved simpleton!   Just love the show so much because it brings back that simple time before all the awful things going on now.  Miss the days before social media.

I can’t get into an Otis elevator and not think of this guy.  He really was a great actor on Andy Griffith and I loved all the laughs he brought to the show.  No one could play a nice lovable drunk like Otis Campbell.   I think I’m done with this one and hope you enjoy.  11x14 pencil

Always enjoyed watching him as a kid,  great actor and man.  Pastelmatt 11x14.

Done on Pastelmatt,  starting to like this paper for pencil.   Always enjoy watching Sam.  Pencil 11x14.

Jessie and Greg make me laugh on FOX and enjoy a little humor in this world we live in now.  Just on a whim decided to do their portrait and maybe sent in to the show.  Pencil 11x14.

Finished Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid from the Hole in the Wall gang! The jump into into the river scene will always be my favorite where Paul Newman laughs at Robert Redford for saying he can’t swim.
