Allan's Art in Arlington

Did another of my favorite show

Haven’t done one of him in a long time.

Enjoyed drawing this one except there was a back and forth on light and dark.   The background I wanted enough detail to see the scene out the back of the car but not to take attention away from Barney.  Lot's going on in this scene.  Aunt Bee is riding happily in the back seat.

Decided to draw a scene from the show instead of just a character.  This is a classic scene where Andy tried to stretch Barney to meet the new requirements of height and weight.  Took a long time on this one due to all the detail and 3 different portraits.   Barney is the focal point though and was a funny show.

 Love drawing Barney.

Love to watch this show as a kid.

Had to do one of John in something besides a western!
